Better than doing the dishesNot familiar with the term? Dine and dash is someone who tries to leave a restaurant without paying the bill. In the case of celebrities who are often comped because of the publicity they bring, it also means leaving without tipping the servers who are often kept past closing time.
I guess it's fair to say that Dennis Rodman is going through a rough time. They gave him the boot from Celebrity Apprentice because he boozed it up and couldn't stay on task. Just last week it was reported that Rodman agreed to attend an outpatient program.
I don't think it's working. Rodman is being accused of skipping out on two dinner checks within just days - one for $1,500 and one for $1,000. Allegedly too drunk to form sentences in both instances, Rodman simply stumbled out of the restaurant and left his friends with the tab. In the first instance, the entire entourage skipped out before management caught on; in the second, the bill was paid, but only after an ugly scene and a call to the po-po. Is Rodman flat broke or has he just learned a new trick from his friends on skid row?
