Ginnifer GoodwinIt was announced that Ginnifer Goodwin has booked herself the lead role in the beloved chick lit novel Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. Ginnifer will play 30-year-old Rachel who has an affair with her perfect best friend's sexy fiance. This is apparently the greatest chick lit novel after The Devil Wears Prada, The Nanny Diaries and anything by Candace Bushnell. Good for Ginnifer getting another lead role following last year's He's Just Not That Into You. Apparently she beat out actresses including Kate Hudson and Malin Ackerman for the role. Remember when Ginnifer played the fat weird friend to Justin Long's sweet geek on Ed? Or when she played Kate Bosworth's sidekick in Win a Date With Tad Hamilton? Or the other friend in Mona Lisa Smile? Well she is doing great now and she pulls of that Mia Farrow haircut so well. Ginnifer will also be playing Aunt Bea in this summer's Ramona and Beezus and she can currently be seen in A Single Man.
