Kid Rock and his entourage were having a little after-hours breakfast at a local Waffle House in Atlanta when a skirmish broke out with a local man. The yokel, one Harlen Akins, recognized one of the floozies accompanying them and starting spouting off. Not one to pass up a good fight, Kid began to exchange words, all politically correct I'm sure, with Mr. Akins, and a fight soon broke out in the parking lot. Police were called and the whole bunch were dragged in.
Unsurprisingly, good ol' Harlen got the worst of the beating and was transported to a local hospital to be treated for cuts, bruises and contusions (all the better to document his future litigation). Because he also broke a window at the Waffle House he was charged with a felony count of second degree criminal damage to property. The Rockettes were all kept in lockdown for about 12 hours before being allowed to bail out on misdemeanor battery charges. No word on whether the young miss at the center of this imbroglio was waiting for him upon his release.
