Keira Knightly in AtonementI came to many conclusions upon my recent screening of Atonement. #1: I want a mansion in the old English country side with servants. #2: Keira Knightly is perfect looking (albeit ridiculously skinny) and wears the most beautiful green dress I have ever seen #3: James McAvoy is so handsome and extremely talented (but I already knew that.) #4: British people have really hot sex scenes without any nudity (see also Enemy at the Gates with Jude Law and Rachel Weisz.) Anyway, you should really read the book first but the movie did a pretty good job of capturing Ian McEwan's masterpiece novel. It has been nominated for a bunch of Golden Globes mostly because even if it isn't an Oscar-worthy film it definitely looks like an Oscar film.
