After a fruitless 15 minutes, the attorneys gave up and sent everyone home. At 7 PM, Kevin's bodyguard arrived to bring the boys back to their father. Britney decided she wanted to keep them overnight, found a way to lock the court-appointed monitor outside and locked herself in the bathroom with Jayden. The monitor called the cops, and the paps stationed outside the gate suddenly found themselves front and center for a public meltdown. The cops, ambulances, Kevin and his attorney, even Sam Lufti couldn't persuade her to open the door; Alli Sims finally broke in with a hammer. They loaded Britney onto a gurney, strapped her down and they all went to Cedars-Sinai, LA's rich folks' hospital.
The cops said she was "under the influence of an unknown substance" but subsequent tests proved otherwise (although PageSix.com swears she was swilling vodka). It's as I said months ago: she wasn't high, she's just nuts. The hospital is keeping her for 72 hours of observation, but can they keep her indefinitely? What if she gets pig-headed again and decides to bail? Can they legally stop her? One thing is certain: there will be no mother-son reunions anytime soon. K-Fed's attorney was in court bright and early the next morning, and she has been stripped of her visitation rights. Her dad and brother are in LA to support her, but not Mama Lynne. Tearfully asking everyone to "just say prayers", she's sticking close by Jamie Lynn, her more salvageable daughter. I wonder how much OK! would pay for a family shot now.
