Yah! Rachel McAdams has finally returned

Rachel McAdamsRachel McAdamsAfter a long break (and a break-up with Ryan Gosling sadly) Rachel is returning to the screen. After she sprung to stardom in Mean Girls and The Notebook she then followed those power-houses with Red Eye, Wedding Crashers and The Family Stone she needed to go back to Canada and take a little nap and dye her hair pink apparently. But now she is back to work and has a whole slew of films coming out. First is "Married Life" which co-stars Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and Patricia Clarkson, all incredibly sucky actors (I am so being sarcastic.) Rachel, of course, plays the object of the men's affection even though Cooper's character is married to an ailing Clarkson. He decides in order to be with Rachel he should kill his wife because a divorce would really be too humiliating for her. So thoughtful. Then she has a post-Iraq war movie but the film that is getting all the buzz (because the book was so popular) is "The Time Travelers Wife" which co-stars the ridiculously hot Eric Bana (Munich is not a happy film but I own it because Eric Bana runs around in tight-70's pants for 3-plus hours.) And then she has a murder mystery in the works co-starring Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and Helen Mirren. So obviously Rachel is building up her dramatic resume and doesn't have a Wedding Crashers sequel comin up any time soon but she is a great actress and I am sure she will be excellent in these films.
