The original California raisinThis is as great an event for gossip as it is for fashion. The biggest names - Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace to mention just a few - will adorn and invite the most stylish celebrities in the world to join them.
Who didn't get an invite? Why, none other than that tweaky little raisin, Rachel Zoe, who thinks much more of herself than her clients. Rachel made the huge mistake last year of telling The New York Times Magazine that she's more influential than Anna Wintour and Vogue. Since then, Rachel has backpedaled furiously, first claiming she was misquoted, then just pretending it never happened. Anna never forgets, though, and holds a grudge longer than Palestine. It will be a cold day in hell before the Raisin is admitted to a Vogue-sponsored event again.
Interestingly enough, the reason Rachel gave for her inability to attend - her "filming schedule and commitment to clients" - sounds kinda fishy in light of the fact that Bravo has yet to announce an official air date or title. Don't be surprised if Anna pulls a few more strings and gets the show yanked before it can air - but not before Rachel spends a lot of time working on it.
