The StrangersI wish I could say that I can watch a scary movie and sleep soundly after I watched but sadly I become an 8-year-old everytime I watch a film so I miss out on alot. What stinks is this movie looks especially good. It looks like a really well done psychological scary movie a la the style of Rosemary's Baby and The Shining. It has people wearing creepy masks which is the #1 to scare the bejeezus out of many people (including me.)
From what I can tell "The Strangers" is about a beautiful young couple (Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman) who go away to a cabin in the middle of nowhereville and what was supposed to be a weekend of romance turns into hell when three masked strangers break into the house and torment them. There is creepy music and weird lingering and it just looks scary as all hell. You know a film is terrifying when during the trailer people were screaming. I could see this definitely be a sleeper hit. It is also nice not to see Scott Speedman as a vampire and Liv Tyler as an elf but instead as victims of torture. P.S.
