Meredith and DerrickI started to lose interest in Grey's last season because 1) I really couldn't deal with any more of Meredith's not creative and whiny voice-overs (they didn't posess the sauciness of Gossip Girl or teach us lessons like the dead woman on Desperate Housewives) 2) I thought it was preposterous that suddenly Meredith had another sister who also happened to be a surgeon and was doing her residency at the same friggin' hospital and her goddamn name was Lexi 3) It was on the same time as The Office and as hot as McDreamy is he is no Jim Halpert. However, last night I caught the 2 hour season finale of Grey's and was blown away! First of all I was a little lost but that made it more exciting! The kid trapped in concrete! SO SCARY!! The girl on girl kiss? CRAZY! Actually I found that a little sad because they took the two bigger (and by bigger I mean they aren't a size zero) women on the show and decided to make them gay. Come on Shonda! Katherine Heigl (who I bet will quit very soon) was great as usual as Izzy and there was a surprisingly upsetting performance by Justin Chambers. SPOILER ALERT: Everyone was getting some in the end!! Also, IS EVERYONE FRIGGIN' IN LOVE WITH GEORGE? I mean I get that he has that whole nice guy thing going for him but he has friggin' slept with every girl on the show and now Lexi loves him. Can't we bring in a new doctor or a cute patient or something? And what do you know? Meredith and Derrick got back together for the 90th time. Maybe this time it will work out but then what kind of medical drama would it be?
