David has been married to Tea Leoni since 1997, and I've never heard a peep about any marital problems or illicit affairs on either side. They always kept a low profile, but when they did make an appearance they always looked happy.
Then again, they are actors, so perhaps things were not as they seem. In a People exclusive, Duchovny announced that he had "voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction ... I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
Yikes. I always thought David was kinda cute in a not quite right in the head (read: harmless kook) way, but he must have done something pretty icky to voluntarily announce such a private matter - it makes you wonder what would have happened had he refused. Like I said, pretty icky.
