A little help here?We've all been wondering where the hell Mitch Winehouse could be while his daughter tries to drug herself to death. He's not petitioning a court to commit her for treatment. He's not trying to clean up all the kitty pipes and foil packets all over her dirty Camden crackhouse. No, Mitch wants to be a singing star, and performed for an audience of 300 last Saturday night. They say he was so good they made him sing for another hour. Yeah, right. They were just looking for coke rings in his nose.
I'm sure Amy could really care less about her father's newfound success. I don't think Amy ever wanted to be in the spotlight; she was happy just frolicking in the park half-naked with her druggie friends. As miserable as she is, Amy thinks she's just biding time until her Blaaaake gets out of jail ... and then the party will really start. If there's anything left of her.
In the meantime Amy's friends have decided they can no longer just stand by and watch her kill herself. They've put their own lives on hold and have set up a 24-hour watch at Amy's house. Already said to be suffering from permanent brain damage as a result of multiple overdoses, Amy is said to be in a "fragile state" and they're all afraid she's going to pass the point of no return. I hope it's not too little, too late. I'm really scared for her; I feel like she's running out of time may just give up her will to live if no one will get her the help she needs.
