Elle Magazine has an article in their June issue featuring Hugh Hefner and the ladies from "The Girls Next Door". The piece painted a not so intelligent picture of girlfriend Kendra. Now she is mad.
The article pointed out Kendra's "fleeting attention span", and her comments in regards to her breasts being her "best investment". Some gentle digs were also made at her intelligence or lack thereof. Not for nothing, but if you have ever seen even the smallest clip on that show, you know Kendra is "the dumb one". That's what she does. She says dumb things.
Page Six reports that Kendra spoke about how hurt her feelings were on "Larry King". Saying, "a magazine article that just came out . . . it hurt my feelings and it really, like, crushed my heart. And Hef being such a great guy, he said, 'You know what, Kendra? I was going to write them a letter and say, like, how this is wrong.' [The article] wasn't really nice . . ."
Hefner agreed with her statement, then wrote the woman who penned the infamous article a nice little note: "I just finished reading your article . . . and think it's the best, most perceptive piece on the show to date . . . I hope you get a chance to do a longer story for the New York Times or The New Yorker." Doesn't sound like he is coming to anyones rescue to me. Guess what it comes down to is the shows need for certain rolls to be filled. And Hef recognizes Kendra's roll as the dense girl with huge boobs and a grill.
